Lawrence Mitchell has been working and restoring antiques around the world for the past 18 years. Unlike many restorers he doesn't just specialise in one or two areas of restoration but specialises in virtually all areas of restoration and is accomplished with making the seemingly impossible possible.
He has extensive experience with restoring hi-end antiques and has a soft spot for early european country furniture. He is also accustomed to altering old furniture to suit modern living needs, i.e. conversions to t.v. cabinets, extending old beds to suit modern mattress sizes and turning wardrobes into display cabinets.
He also does custom made and duplicate furniture in solid timber such as tables, bookcases, cupboards, chests of drawers and chairs.
Collection and delivery can be arranged, all items are fully insured both in transit and in the workshop and Lawrence takes great care with customers treasured items whether they be family air looms, personal pieces or have sentimental value.
